Thanks to the hole third group...It was fantastic, really.....I miss you all :o(

But now, drums are back. For the next seven months I'm playing with the Heeresmusikkorp 10 Ulm. Check out the dates.

2006, I think it was a very good year, thanks to all who believed and supported me. thanks a lot and thanks to you.  Tomorrow the last round will start. I'm at the "Antenne Bayern" studios. You can hear me the hole day live on air at the best of "Stefan Meixner Show".

Sorry, there wasn't any news in September. I was working in the studio for a special project and was very busy with the last preperations for my german army  time. Now I'm there since one month. The day starts at 5.00 or earlier... but this is really the "only" terrible think. It's like a big playground  ;o)

I was very surprised when my Phone rang and the most heard radio station of germany "Antenne Bayern" had invited me for studio recordings next day. It was a very funny job. "Play modern chart songs with 26 cowbells..."...Yeah! After two hours crazy studio recording :o) and four live interviews, we had the idea, that we can perform this crazy stuff live on stage at the Antenne Bayern Beach Party in Immenstadt. It was the shortest and craziest show I've ever done.
After the show Sat.1 was interested in me for a show on TV. We will see if it works and what will happen. It would be great. I have so many ideas for this show :o)
Thanks a lot to Johannes and the hole Antenne Bayern team for the nice time.

Learning, learning, working, working,...
The rhythms seminar in Marktoberdorf was unbelievable. Russ Miller, Pete Lockett, Johnny Rapp, Benny Greb, Steve Smith, Zoro, Hakim Ludin,  Rhani krija and others were there and a friend and I between them.  We worked there the week and were very endeavour to granted their wishes. Sometimes it was very hard and stressfull but I think we've done a good Job. After the week I was out of order for two days, becouse the nights were very short... but it doesn't matter with this nice guys, from the academy and the artists,... it was the best work I've ever done. Big fun. I'm Looking forward to 2008 to see a view of them again and I'm looking forward to the work.
Thank you soooooo much to all artists for making our job and the time unforgettable for us. And thank you to the bavarian music academy specially to Arno Jauchmann. Your the best chef of the world :)
But the rhythms wasn't all what's happend in July. A view great gig's with our big band were fantastic, too. Thank you all for the good time.

It was a very good month. Right at the beginning, I was playing the drums at the FIFA WorldCup opening... it was great. I hope it doesn't take so long to get the photos.
